SANTANDER - Integration Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Technology Lead to join the Liquidity Management team within Santander Corporate & Investment Banking. The role focuses on leading the technical integration of strategic third-party liquidity solutions with Santander's global technology ecosystem, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient services that support the bank's global cash management capabilities.

Responsabilities

- The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end technical integration of external platforms with Santander's global infrastructure, collaborating with internal architecture, security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to ensure seamless interoperability across multiple geographies.

- The role includes driving the rollout of the solution across Europe and the Americas, coordinating implementation activities with local and global stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with the Bank's technology strategy and delivery roadmap.

- The candidate will act as the primary technical counterpart for strategic software vendors and managed service providers, overseeing service delivery, technical governance, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement.

- The Technology Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all solutions comply with Santander Group's technology, architecture, cybersecurity, and operational resilience standards.

- Strong leadership skills to drive technical decision-making, manage cross-functional initiatives, mitigate delivery risks, and promote engineering best practices throughout the solution lifecycle.



Requisitos mínimos

Mandatory Skills

- Proven experience managing outsourced IT services and coordinating Tier 1 and Tier 2 support providers is essential to ensure service quality, operational stability, and adherence to agreed service levels.

- Minimum 3 years' experience leading technical initiatives or teams, with experience in coordinating suppliers and managing technology services.

-Solid understanding of modern enterprise technology architectures and integration patterns, including APIs (REST/SOAP), messaging platforms (MQ, Kafka or similar), network communications, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and secure data exchange mechanisms across distributed environments.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as the role requires close collaboration with Business, Architecture, Engineering, Operations, Cybersecurity, and external technology partners across multiple countries.

- Ability to understand and work with application monitoring, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting, providing appropriate visibility to both technical and Business stakeholders.

- Familiarity with automation and AI-assisted engineering tools, ideally including tools such as Devin, and an interest in identifying practical opportunities to automate repetitive technical activities.

- Fluency in English (MINIMUM C1 LEVEL), both written and spoken, is mandatory, as it is the primary language for communication with global teams, vendors, and international stakeholders.
