SANTANDER-FX junior DevOps

• Supporting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions

• Assisting with deployments across:

o OpenShift (Kubernetes)

o AWS cloud environments

o Bare-metal servers (low-latency systems)

• Working with configuration management using Ansible

• Supporting Linux/Unix systems and assisting with Windows-based environments where required

• Helping with monitoring and observability:

o Dynatrace for monitoring

o ELK stack for log aggregation

• Collaborating with development teams using:

o Jira and Confluence

o GitHub for source control

• Participating in Kanban-based delivery

• Learning and using AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Rovo, and Devin

• Writing documentation and improving operational processes

• Collaborating across time zones with clear written and verbal communication in English

Essential Skills & Experience (Must Have)

These are required for the role:

• English level: B2+ minimum (spoken and written) – you will work daily with international teams

• Good Unix/Linux fundamentals

• Ansible – basic to intermediate knowledge

• Git – understanding of version control workflows

• Basic coding or scripting experience (e.g. Bash, Python, or similar)

• A strong desire to learn and grow in a DevOps environment

• Ability to work well in a distributed, international team

Experience with any of the following is a bonus, but not mandatory:

• Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions

• Kubernetes or OpenShift

• AWS or other cloud platforms

• ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

• Windows system administration

• Banking, finance, or FX systems

• Previous experience working in Kanban teams

• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools
