SANTANDER BRASIL - FX Devops Mid level

We are looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer based in Brazil to join our global DevOps team. You will work closely with engineers in London and Poland, while playing a key role in strengthening and

scaling our Brazil-based DevOps capability.

This role requires someone comfortable working in production environments within a regulated industry. The DevOps team is responsible for deploying releases, and this includes scheduled weekend release

work on a rotating basis.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions

• Managing and supporting deployments across:

o OpenShift (Kubernetes)

o AWS

o Bare-metal infrastructure for low-latency systems

• Automating infrastructure and application configuration using Ansible

• Supporting and troubleshooting Unix/Linux systems, with integration into Windows environments

• Monitoring and observability using:

o Dynatrace for system monitoring and alerting

o ELK stack for centralised logging

• Collaborating with engineering teams using:

o GitHub

o Jira and Confluence

• Participating in release activities, including:

o Planned deployments

o Post-release verification

o Incident investigation and root cause analysis

• Taking part in a rotational weekend release schedule (approximately 1 weekend in every 5)

• Mentoring junior DevOps engineers

• Using AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, Rovo, Devin) to improve delivery and operational efficiency

• Improving documentation, standards, and DevOps best practices

Requisitos mínimos

Essential Skills & Experience (Must Have)

• English level: B2+ (spoken and written) — daily communication with international teams

• Strong Unix/Linux administration experience

• Ansible — solid experience writing and maintaining playbooks and roles

• Git — confident with collaborative workflows

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions)

• Experience running workloads on Kubernetes / OpenShift

• Scripting or coding experience (Bash, Python, or similar)

• Experience supporting production systems

• Willingness and ability to participate in rotational weekend release work
