Your role will be:

Working in a fast paced environment developing Node.js applications and services, we require demonstrated experience with this technology.

Working within the development team using Scrum with the responsibility of developing using modern JavaScript frameworks and tools.

testing frameworks for automated and unit testing and for building automation and dependency management.

programming functionalities, including automated complex testing, multi-tier front and backend applications, as well as providing operational support for existing applications always based on a Continuous Integration and continuous development view

Working with GIT object model, branching and pull-request workflow.

Able to support through a 24*7 on call rota: Oncall support will be one week at a time

Requisitos mínimos

What you’ll bring:

Proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+ features) and TypeScript (e.g. generic types).

Strong understanding of the Node.js event loop and its role in building non-blocking applications. Understanding of concurrency, callbacks and promises.

Experience in single-threaded vs. multithreaded approaches in Node.js applications.

Familiarity with Node.js frameworks and libraries (e.g., Express, Koa).

Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.

Experience with Jest for unit testing and/or other E2E testing for Node.js applications.

Experience with databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

Version control systems (e.g., Git) proficiency.

Experience with other popular Node.js tools like pino, got, redis.

Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members.

It would also be nice for you to have:

Knowledge of Java language

Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT).

Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their SDKs.
